You provide much-needed training to IT specialists in Africa
Technology is crucial to speeding up the Bible translation process, which is why it’s so important for Bible translation organizations in Africa to have well-trained IT technicians who can aid translators when they encounter difficulties.
For this reason, with help from people like you giving to JAARS Technology Solutions, we have been able to fund annual IT Connect conferences where IT specialists can share their knowledge and grow in their skills.
“It’s an opportunity to connect with people who do [the same] kind of work that we do in different organizations, and build our capacity by learning from one another,” said Frans Barah, the director of technical services and training at the Cameroon Association for Bible Translation and Literacy.
More IT Connects are on the horizon, as well as installing solar panels and network cabling for different Bible translation organizations, which can only happen with help from people like you.
