Watch a pilot demonstrate the precision and skill needed to operate a mission airplane or helicopter overseas.
Come see how innovations in technology and software are speeding Bible translation. Check out a boat, our aircraft, or solar power.
Over 600 people work on our campus. They’re pilots, software developers, boat captains, trainers, translators, and more—people who’ve served all over the world. And they all have stories.
Hop into a missionary plane, or pile into a four-wheel-drive vehicle and enjoy our off-road course. Either way, you’ll get a taste of how Bible translators reach remote villages. Come early! Rides in both aircraft and the vehicle course are limited, and tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
You’ll need to sign our liability waiver. To save time on JAARS Day, simply fill it out now and bring with you.
Pack a picnic, or buy lunch here served up local food trucks. Drop by historic downtown Waxhaw for coffee, antique shopping, or a walking tour. Hike or camp at Cane Creek Park or Andrew Jackson State Park.
Take home a souvenir of your day at JAARS. Your gift shop purchase helps JAARS make Bible translation possible.
“What a fun day, and inspiring! It opened my eyes to the importance of God’s Word to all languages!”
