Jaars Center

Mission Teams

Looking for a place where your school or church can make a global impact right here in the United States? JAARS offers many opportunities to serve the Bible translation movement.

If your church or school is looking for a place to serve the Lord right here in the United States, consider coming to JAARS to serve alongside us. We take groups of 4-15 from as near as Charlotte, North Carolina, to as far away as Southern California. You can be a part of Bible translation around the world as you give of your time here in North Carolina!

Pray

Pray about whether this is a good fit and time for your church or organization’s mission. Pray about who might be interested in joining you on this servant-hearted adventure. Pray for open schedules and hearts to learn what God is doing in Bible translation.

Plan

We’ll be taking reservations again in the fall. In the interim, decide what dates you’re interested in. Be sure to pray for the dates that fit your group best. We’ll reserve the dates for you and send you information to help you and your group prepare for a great experience as you serve at JAARS.

Go

Send out that packing list, meet as a group to pray, and get ready to load up and make the trek! We look forward to seeing you here in North Carolina!

“The love for Jesus and Kingdom work is palpable. Everyone was friendly and made
a point to thank us. This week reminded me how precious the Word of God is—how
could I get so complacent to take it for granted? Also, I am reminded of the sacrifice
missionaries make for long, long periods of time to share Christ.”
