Jaars Center

Mission Teams

Make a big difference while learning about global missions.

If your church or school is looking for a place to serve the Lord right here in the United States, consider coming to JAARS to serve alongside us. You can be a part of Bible translation around the world as you give of your time here in North Carolina!

“Everything was great! I really enjoyed learning about JAARS and talking to the missionaries. I would love to come back in the future to do more work.”

How It Works

1. See if this is a good fit.

First, do you have a heart for Bible translation? If so, take a look at the project list below. Then contact us to explore your questions and options.

2. Set a date.

As soon as you can confirm that your organization wants to send a team, check with us to see which dates are open.

3. Build your team.

Pray as you gather people. Make sure each person meets our basic volunteer requirements. We’ll also help you choose a project and get ready for your trip.

“The love for Jesus and Kingdom work is palpable. Everyone was friendly and made a point to thank us. This week reminded me how precious the Word of God is—how could I get so complacent to take it for granted? Also, I am reminded of the sacrifice missionaries make for long, long periods of time to share Christ.”
