Outdoor and Multi-Generational Ministries Fellow


Direct Supervisor: Director of Multi-Generational Engagement 

The Outdoor and Multi-Generational Ministries Fellow will help implement the Multi-Generational team’s current programs from beginning to end, from event development to debriefing. He or she will learn how each program is designed to contribute to the overall objectives of JAARS and play a key role in fine-tuning the programs for maximum effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help implement and evaluate consistent registration and follow-up processes for events and programs, including all CrossVenture programs
  • Assist with Mission Teams programming as needed
  • Work with mission teams that come to JAARS for service projects
  • Draft a marketing plan for events and implement it
  • Engage with JAARS constituents through social media management
  • Assist with program development as it relates to content, activities, scheduling, and analytics
  • Assist with onboarding registration
  • Other job-related duties as assigned by your manager

  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Being able to lift up to 20lbs
  • Being able to be outdoors for extended periods of time 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Majors include Youth Ministries, Recreational Studies, Event Planning/Management, Intercultural Studies, and Education
  • Experience leading groups of various ages in activities, lessons, devotions, or debriefs
  • Summer fellow: open to staying past the end of the fellowship in June (if there is no fellow in the Winter Cohort)
