Accounting Fellow


Direct Supervisor: VP of Finance/CFO

The Accounting Fellow will be a vital part of the Finance/Accounting team, participating in the daily operations and large projects of the department. He or she will become familiar with not-for-profit accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system conversion, and accounting procedures and best practices.

The Accounting Fellow responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Collaborating as part of the ERP implementation team with migration to a new financial system. This will include performing system testing and writing procedures and documentation for the new system
  • Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Assisting the CFO with special projects

Requirements

  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Flexible and team-oriented
  • Proactive
  • Willingness to learn and grow

Preferred

  • Working experience with Google suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Majors including: Finance, Accounting, or Financial Technology
