Vision Flights

Take a JAARS Vision Flight! They are usually offered on Thursday mornings for individuals aged 12-21 years. Our Vision Flights begin with a brief introduction to JAARS at our main administration building on JAARS Road. Then you will make your way to the hangar for a behind-the-scenes tour, a pre-flight devotional and then the flight!

Vision Flight registration is currently closed until late spring. Please watch the JAARS website and JAARS social media for an announcement when Vision Flights reopen. In the meantime, you are more than welcome to book a tour or visit our museums. Thank you for your interest!

Touch the Sky

On the day of your flight, you'll meet your pilot, learn how aerodynamics and spiritual forces work in parallel, and go over the preflight briefing with your pilot. On your flight you will have the opportunity to handle the controls as your JAARS pilot explains the basics of how to fly an airplane. Once back on the ground, you’ll debrief with your pilot, who will sign your flight certificate, give you your JAARS Wings pin, and explain how to become a mission pilot.

Vision Flights are $50 per person. Flights are limited and weather dependent. Once you register, we’ll contact you with your flight day details and will stay in touch regarding weather delays, etc.

Registration will reopen in early 2026.
