Self-Guided Tours

We provide a self-guided cell phone tour of the JAARS base for groups of 10 or less.

Beginning at the Cardenas Building (6403 Davis Rd), visitors can learn about the history of JAARS before walking around the base. The cell phone tour will highlight select areas of the JAARS base, illustrating how the different departments at JAARS help cover the last mile in missions. Features of the tour include the radio tower, videos of JAARS' work overseas, and the runway viewing area. After the tour, we also recommend visiting the Alphabet Museum's Pittman Building, the Townsend Lobby, and the Townsend Meditation Garden.

The tour can be viewed at any time, but it is recommended to use it during Cardenas Building hours (Tuesday-Saturday 12:30-3:30 p.m.).
