Middle School
Friday night Middle School Youth group is a ministry focused on MKs, and their friends, grades 6 through 8. The goal is to build a community of Godly fellowship and provide intentional opportunities for spiritual growth. The Middle School youth group is full of excitement and growth.
A typical night consists of a welcoming time, games, some student led worship, and small group Bible study and prayer. There are approximately 20 middle school youth actively involved as well as incredible high school students who participate as assistant leaders. Carolyn Thauer and Becca Segers lead the middle school program.
High School
The High School Youth ministry is focused on MKs, and their friends, grades 9 through 12. The goal is to build a community of godly fellowship and provide intentional opportunities for spiritual growth. Over 20 students come to the Olive Branch every Thursday night to worship Christ and get to know Him better together.
Our student-led worship team leads us into God’s presence. We dig into the Bible through teaching and small group discussion. We pray together, and afterwards, we enjoy a game or some good conversation. If you’re a high school student, come join us! Scott Baldwin leads the high school program.
JAARS Youth Ministry Outreach Programs
Outreach is an action-oriented activity that provides practical support with the desire to be “salt and light” to the community and world. JAARS Youth Outreach Ministry seeks to offer students of all ages unique opportunities to invest in local, regional, and global communities.
