Multi-Generational Engagement Fellow


Direct Supervisor: Director of Multi-Generational Engagement 

The Multi-Generational Engagement (MGE) Fellow will help implement the MGE team’s current programs from beginning to end, from event development to debriefing. He or she will learn how each program is designed to contribute to the overall objectives of JAARS and play a key role in fine-tuning the programs for maximum effectiveness.

The MGE Fellow responsibilities include:

  • Helping develop consistent registration and follow-up processes for events and programs, including CrossVenture, Brigade Air, and Race for Possible (see JAARS website for more details on these events)
  • Working with mission teams that come to JAARS for service projects
  • Drafting a marketing plan for events and implementing it
  • Engaging with JAARS constituents through social media management
  • Assisting with program development as it relates to content, activities, scheduling, and analytics

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Familiarity with social media platforms

Preferred

  • Majors including: Youth Ministries, Recreational Studies, Event Planning/Management, Intercultural Studies, or Education
  • Experience leading groups of various ages in activities, lessons, devotions, or debriefs
