Guest Experience Fellow
DIRECT SUPERVISOR: DIRECTOR OF GUEST SERVICES
The Guest Experience Fellow will play an integral role in the department which serves those who are visiting JAARS. He or she will work closely with other staff to help provide the best experience possible for guests. Areas of service include providing quality housing, food service, events, and more. The Fellow will be encouraged to think creatively about possible new processes, and to think strategically about streamlining and strengthening existing processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Review functional processes (Housing, Food Service, Events and Service Desk) to look for process improvement opportunities as well as skills
- Look for ways to develop and train multi-functional staff for full resource utilization
- Develop processes where ambiguity exists
- Conduct an internal needs assessment to determine how Guest Services can best partner with internal departments
- Understand methods and programs that have been used in past years
- Collaborate well with staff in Guest Services and other departments to accomplish these goals
- Projects and other job-related duties as assigned by your manager
Job Requirements

- Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Fellows Program Requirements
- Value global ministry

- Collaborative
Preferred
- Working experience with Google suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.) and Microsoft Office
- Majors include Hospitality Management, Business Management
- Experience in training and development
