Last November, Woods, an aircraft mechanic with Wycliffe Bible Translators, serving at JAARS Inc., received the distinguished “Charles Taylor Master Mechanic” Award. Given by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the award states that it is in appreciation for “dedicated service, technical expertise, professionalism, and many outstanding maintenance contributions, to further the cause of aviation safety.”
