The PAS department was created in 1981.
- How many people work with PAS?
Currently, nearly 20 people coordinate PAS services at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, N.C.
- How many purchases and shipments does PAS handle each year?
Each year, we purchase roughly $750,000 worth of goods and make about 500 individual shipments. While some shipments are as small as one item, many are large, containerized sea-freight shipments.
- What are the most common items purchased and shipped?
Some of the most common items we purchase and ship are:
- Computers
- Electronic goods
- Repair parts for vehicles and other equipment
- What can PAS purchase and ship?
We will purchase and ship any supplies that are both legal and moral. We do not purchase or ship alcohol, tobacco, explosives, guns or any items that could be associated with war.
- Where can PAS ship items?
We can arrange for items to be shipped anywhere in the world.
- Who is eligible for PAS services?
We offer our services to anyone within the Wycliffe Bible Translators family of organizations. As resources allow, we also provide services to other mission organizations.
- Can PAS ship my package to a friend or family member serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators?
Yes. You can send your package to:
