Requirements


These apply to anyone seeking a full-time position with us.

General

  • Member of a sending agency.
    To work long-term with us, you must be a member of a sending agency, normally a Wycliffe organization. If you live in:
  • Solid relationship with Jesus Christ.
    You must have a clear and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. You should also be active in a local church and agree with the Wycliffe Statement of Faith.

  • Ability to serve cross-culturally.
    You must be able to work closely with people of other doctrinal, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Technical

  • ^^Aviation administration
    • Training or experience in roles such as accounting, bookkeeping, management, purchasing or stockroom management.
  • Avionics technician
    • Mechanic certificate with airframe rating or equivalent
    • Two years of education in electronics or license in communications technology
    • Two years of experience working in avionics or radio preferred
  • Maintenance technician
    • Mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings or equivalent
    • Two years of experience maintaining aircraft
  • Pilot—fixed wing
    • Minimum 500 hours flight time
    • Commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating
    • Class II medical certificate or equivalent
    • High performance and tailwheel endorsements
    • Mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings or equivalent—required in most cases
  • Pilot—rotor wing
    • Minimum 500 hours flight time
    • Commercial pilot certificate
    • Class II medical certificate or equivalent
    • Mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings or equivalent—required in most cases
