| “I learned about the whole process of Bible
translation. Prior to this week I did not have any idea of what it
takes to translate the Bible into other languages. It’s
fascinating!”
“Hearing the experiences of our instructors was invaluable because everything they taught was practical and field-tested.” “I benefited from everything in this course. Every aspect brought me to a better understanding not only of what is involved and needed in translation, but also to a larger understanding of God Himself. Thank you!” “I had heard most of the linguistics information from a college class, most of the anthropology from personal experience, and most of the missions thinking from God teaching me. However, putting these all together with fleshed-out stories from people with real and deep experiences that resulted in changed worldviews, and the importance of God’s Word, was just a combination that I could honestly call beautiful and inspiring.” |

| “TIU exceeded my expectations. I was expecting
to learn only phonetics and phonology, but I also learned things I
can use no matter where I go in the future, whether I go into Bible
translation or not, things like cultural and world view, translation
techniques, and language learning.”
