Getting there is often a monumental task for those doing Bible translation in remote areas.

Travel can be time-consuming, stressful, and outrageously expensive. As a result, many teams forego crucial trips—slowing Bible translation, literacy efforts, and humanitarian aid.

Airplanes, boats, helicopters ... all are needed to accommodate work at remote sites. But they’re often unaffordable without travel subsidies from JAARS.

By partnering with us, you can help subsidize 35 percent of needed travel for many teams, helping people:

  • travel between remote villages and regional offices
  • visit with consultants for training and guidance
  • send their children to quality schools
  • reach emergency medical care
  • perform language surveys
  • distribute New Testaments, literacy materials, films, and more
  • get cargo and building materials to remote areas
  • travel to typeset and review final drafts of Scripture
