Dyslexia is the most common learning disorder, impacting roughly 10–20 percent of the world’s population. And missionary families aren’t immune. Both children and adults can struggle with the condition, which is particularly hard to work through while living in remote areas.

You can help support these families—by providing specialized tutoring and curriculum at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, North Carolina. This project will provide the materials and license to teach the Barton Reading & Spelling Program, plus training for three tutors.

With this license, tutoring can be offered to children while their families are on furlough. And unlimited copies of the curriculum and training DVDs can be made for parents to use when they return overseas.

As a result, dyslexic children can get the right education—while their families continue to serve where God has called them.
