Computer Network and Backup System in Burkina Faso

In Burkina Faso, Western Africa, efforts are centered around one task: training people for Bible translation. Having a language program underway in every group still needing one will require many more workers—and preparing them is key.

Regional offices in Ouagadougou are increasingly used to host training programs for translation teams in the French-speaking region of Western Africa.

But more people and programs are straining the center’s already-stretched computer network. An adequate backup system is also lacking, leaving staff with no reliable way to protect crucial data and communications.

By partnering with JAARS, you can help provide a network and backup system for the Ouagadougou offices, ensuring:

  • All offices have reliable Internet and network connections.
  • Staff can back up data, preventing the loss of valuable information.
  • Workshops can continue without technical delays.

Without this installation, the ability to involve and train more people in Western Africa is hindered. But we can change that—the sooner, the better.
