Indonesia is home to a full quarter of the 2,022 language groups still without God’s Word. Living in remote, roadless isolation, most of these communities can’t be reached without YAJASI’s fleet of rugged aircraft.

For thirty years, its piston-powered, avgas-burning planes have carried Bible translators to and from far-flung villages. They’ve flown consultants, trainers, government workers, local translators. Opened doors for education and economic development. Rescued the ill.

But today avgas prices are reaching $12 per gallon, making YAJASI’s planes incredibly costly to operate. The forty-two-year-old aircraft are also becoming almost impossible to maintain.

Since 2002, YAJASI has been trusting the Lord to replace its fleet with six new, turbine-powered aircraft. “We stand in awe of what God has done,” writes pilot Nate Gordon, “to bring us four of the six aircraft. Our team is urgently praying for the remaining two.”

By partnering with JAARS, you can help provide a Pilatus PC-6 for YAJASI—allowing them to better serve Indonesia’s most remote communities.
