JAARS Program Fund
When JAARS began in 1948, it supported Bible translation through one plane in Peru.
Today, it provides dozens of services throughout the world.
JAARS facilitates air, land and water transportation in isolated areas. It develops translation software and culturally appropriate media. It provides technical support, and improves communication through Internet connections, email and Web conferencing.
JAARS-trained personnel are serving throughout the world—speeding Bible translation and language development for hundreds of communities.
During the last year, for instance, JAARS facilitated services such as:
- Aviation programs in six countries.
- Cross-cultural training for new missionaries.
- Improving Internet connections in Africa.
- Training for media production.
- Off-road driving and maintenance courses.
- Purchasing and shipping supplies to more than 80 countries.
- Construction and maintenance training.
- Water transportation surveys in the Pacific.
Your partnership will help ensure that JAARS can continue providing these vital services—and many others—during the upcoming year. As a result, hundreds of Bible translation and language development programs can progress, bolstered by efficient, reliable support from JAARS.
