Tours

We offer tours of the JAARS Center most weekdays, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Townsend Building. During the two-hour program, guests are introduced to our unique role in Bible translation through videos, interactive presentations and a tour of our campus.

If you would like to join us for a JAARS Center tour, we recommend you make reservations at least one day in advance. For groups, we recommend reservations at least six weeks in advance.

Helpful Information

• Tours of our center cover nearly one mile. For your comfort, we recommend walking shoes. If you are unable to walk this distance, please let us know in advance and we will make special arrangements for your tour.

• If you would like to stay for lunch, meals are available in our dining hall for a reasonable cost. You may also visit our on-site museums to learn more about literacy and Bible translation history.

• If you will be traveling to visit the JAARS Center, you are welcome to stay in our on-site housing for a reasonable cost.
