Aviation Pilot/Mech (Rotary-Wing)

Can you combine your love of flying with serving the Lord? Yes you can! Papua New Guinea is home to over 800 distinct language groups. More than 170 of those language groups now have the New Testament because of translators who have dedicated their lives to the task, 180 more Bible translation programs are in progress, and many more groups still need assistance! Where are all these language groups? In coastal areas, remote mountain villages, and outlying island settings! The geography of PNG dictates that many areas can only be accessed by aeroplane or helicopter so we have a small fleet of aircraft dedicated to serving the people of PNG by transporting translators and related staff to and from the areas where they work. Currently we have a vacancy for a qualified helicopter pilot/mechanic to join our team; someone who is well trained with a clear sense of God’s calling who will dedicate their time, their skills and their heart to seeing the people of PNG have access to His Word. We need someone who is flexible, spiritually hardy, motivated, resourceful, and can work as part of a cross-cultural team of PNG and expatriate co-workers in supporting the task of Bible translation. Could that be you? For more information contact your nearest Wycliffe office.
