Aviation Avionics Technician

Looking for where you can use your skills to help further God’s Kingdom? Papua New Guinea is home to over 800 distinct language groups. More than 170 of those language groups now have the New Testament because of translators who have dedicated their lives to the task and 180 more Bible translation programs are in progress! Where are all these programs located? In coastal areas, remote mountain villages, and outlying island settings! The geography of PNG dictates that many areas can only be accessed by aeroplane or helicopter so we have a small fleet of aircraft dedicated to serving the people of PNG by transporting translators and related staff to and from the areas where they work. Currently we have a vacancy for a qualified avionics technician to join our team of well trained people with a clear sense of God’s calling who will dedicate their time, their skills and their hearts to seeing the people of PNG have access to His Word. We need someone who is flexible, spiritually hardy, motivated, resourceful, and can work as part of a cross-cultural team of PNG and expatriate co-workers in supporting the task of Bible translation.
