Intern

We offer several internships for college students who are interested in Christian missions and the support services that we provide. These positions give students practical experience in their field of study, enabling them to sharpen their skills and gain a broader vision of worldwide mission work.

Fields of Study

Currently, internships are available in information technology. These internships give students hands-on experience in their field: providing computer support, programming software, conducting research and more.

Length and Location

Our internships are usually held at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, N.C., for eight weeks during the summer. However, opportunities may be available year-round and for longer periods of time.

All interns are welcome to stay in JAARS Center housing for a reasonable cost.

Compensation

All interns are paid minimum wage.*

*Please note: Under United States immigration laws, citizens of foreign countries cannot work without first obtaining a green card or United States Employment Authorization Document. However, citizens of foreign countries can intern at JAARS without compensation.
