JAARS personnel receive no guaranteed salary. Each worker trusts God for his or her income, mainly through the financial support of churches, groups, and individuals. If you would like to provide financial help to a missionary working with JAARS in support of Bible translation, contact the JAARS Human Resources Department.

JAARS, as an organization, depends on God to provide operational expenses and special project funds through individuals, churches and foundations. Financial gifts to members, specific projects, or to “where needed most” are tax deductible.

You may want to consider using assets such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds instead of cash to make your charitable gifts.

Through gift planning, your efforts now can mean significant support for Bible translation for years to come. It’s a big decision, but it takes only a little work to include JAARS in your estate planning.

Gifts in Kind Occasionally, people offer items to JAARS to sell and the proceeds go to JAARS projects.

By Electronic Funds Transfer—Authorize JAARS to deduct your monthly project gifts automatically from your checking account through EFT.

By mail—Enclose a check written to “JAARS, Inc.” or send credit card information (Visa or MasterCard) to JAARS, Box 248, Waxhaw NC 28173-0248.

NOTE: To ensure that your gift is credited in the current year, the envelope must be postmarked no later than December 31.
