BST Administrative Assistant

Replies to telephonic and written requests for information, developing and maintaining organized, accurate records of communications which are available to the BST Director. Maintains an adequate and concise flow of information with related departments. Gathers information necessary to prepare special or periodic reports such as progress reports, personnel activities or project funding. Assists in preparation and coordination of BST budgets. Assists in planning and logistical arrangements for workshops, training courses and conferences. Designs and produces BST publicity or information materials such as news sheets, reports, or illustrated booklets in consultation with the BST Director. Maintains relationships with field workers and office staff, coordinating activities for efficient and smooth operation. Finds creative solutions to administrative problems. Makes decisions in accordance with delegated authority, yet remains open to input and suggestions from team members. Understands and applies the principles of Christian leadership which operate in SIL and WBT. May participate in local or area training courses, as individual training and experience indicates. While using this Title it is understood that the specific responsibilities of a position may be adjusted by the BST Director. A minimum of 20 hours per week is needed although more hours could be added if applicant can handle them.
