| JAARS Aviation witnessed the mighty hand of God
as He provided a helicopter to be based in Cameroon. In June 2006,
JAARS entered into a formal agreement with Samaritan’s Purse,
leasing their Bell Long Ranger for a period of five years. It
began operating in the North West Province of Cameroon near Banso
in January 2007.
A Cessna 206 and a Helio Courier are also flown in the Cameroon aviation program. The C-206 is headquartered in Yaoundé and flies to several countries in central Africa. Along with the helicopter, the Helio Courier is headquartered in the North West Province and makes flights principally in mountainous areas. |
